Oil and cold wax painting is a technique that allows for many layers of paint. The cold wax medium  dries quite quickly so I can scratch into it and it shows some of the many layers below. For me it is an intuitive and abstract manner of working.

 Linocut is an age old form of art.  My approach has been to make the linocuts individually different so that each one can be considered to be unique. This method allows for a work of art to be accessible to many in the way of affordable art. With many of the linocuts  I have layered the beautiful Japanese papers so that the image below peaks through and adds to the  uniqueness of the piece.

My Intuitive Landscapes are exactly what the title implies.  The image is created intuitively with no particular place in mind.  Memories of many wonderful places we have been may come to mind as I work on the painting bringing the painting from total abstract to Intuitive Landscape.

This collection goes beyond my intuitive landscape paintings.  They may be painted on paper or canvas
